Terms of Service
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between Autodori ("Autodori", "we") and the business that signs up for Autodori (the "Dealer", "you"). By starting a free trial, buying a plan or using the dealer dashboard, you accept them on behalf of your business.
1. The service
Autodori gives car dealers a website for their cars at name.autodori.com (or on their own domain), a dashboard to manage cars, stores, staff and customer requests, and the hosting for both. The service is sold to businesses only, by monthly or yearly subscription.
Shoppers use dealer websites free of charge. Cars are sold by the Dealer, never by Autodori: we are not a party to any sale, and the Dealer alone is responsible for its cars, prices, test drives and dealings with shoppers.
2. Your account
- Give true and current details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everything done with your logins, including your staff’s. Keep passwords private and turn on two-step login.
- Tell us at hello@autodori.com straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- One free trial per business. A trial refused because the business, email, phone or card already had one can still buy a plan.
3. Plans, trial and payment
Each plan’s price and limits (stores, cars, staff logins, photos, videos, storage and website sections) are shown on our pricing page and on your Plan page. Prices exclude taxes unless the checkout says otherwise, and the price shown at checkout is the price charged.
- The free trial lasts 7 days and needs a payment card. At its end the plan you picked is charged automatically, unless you cancel first. We email you 3 days before.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, monthly or yearly, until cancelled, and are paid in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or keep your card number.
- A move to a larger plan can start at once, and you pay the difference for the time left. A move to a smaller plan or a shorter period starts when the period you paid for ends.
- We keep your price while you stay on the same plan and period. If we raise it, we email you at least 30 days before the first renewal at the new price, and you can change plan or cancel before then.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Your website stays online until the end of the period you paid for (or the trial), nothing more is charged, and you can undo the cancellation until that date.
Because the service starts right away, payments are not refunded, with one exception: you can ask for a full refund of your first payment within 7 days of that payment, through our contact page. The subscription then ends straight away and your website goes offline. Periods you have started are not refunded after a cancellation or a move to a smaller plan.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
5. Unpaid sites, data download and deletion
If a renewal payment fails, we email you the same day and Stripe retries your card for up to 7 days; your website keeps working for a short grace period. If the plan ends unpaid, your website is paused: it goes offline and your dashboard offers only payment and downloading your data.
A paused site is permanently deleted, with its cars, customer requests, staff logins and web address, 30 days after the pause starts. We email you when it starts and 3 days before the deletion. Paying before then brings everything back.
6. Your content
You own what you add: cars, photos, videos, texts, logos and your shoppers’ requests. You give us the right to store, copy, display and back up it only to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to publish it.
How we handle personal data, including the shopper data we process on your behalf, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Acceptable use
You must list only cars you have the right to sell, with honest prices, mileage, history and photos, and follow the consumer, advertising and data protection laws that apply to your sales. You must not:
- list stolen cars, publish fake listings, commit fraud, or publish unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- send shoppers messages they did not ask for;
- scrape, overload, probe or attack Autodori or other dealers’ websites;
- resell or share your account, or use the service to build a competing product.
Each plan includes a fair-use allowance of website visits. If your website goes far beyond it, nothing is switched off; we contact you about a plan that fits.
8. Suspension and ending the service
We may hide content, or deactivate a website, that breaks these terms or the law, with notice where we can. A deactivated website goes offline and its subscription stops renewing; you keep access to your dashboard to download your data for at least 30 days before it can be deleted. A deactivation for a breach is not refunded.
We may stop offering Autodori. If we do, we tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of any period you paid for.
9. Our platform
The Autodori software, designs and name belong to Autodori. Your subscription gives you the right to use the service while it lasts; it does not transfer any code. Custom website designs we build for you as a separate paid service are agreed in writing, and you may use them while your subscription is active.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep Autodori available, secure and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or free of errors. Planned maintenance is kept short.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect damage, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. These limits do not apply to damage we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them.
You are responsible for claims by shoppers or others arising from your cars, listings or sales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For an important change we email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use Autodori afterwards means you accept the new terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Please contact us first, and we will try to settle any problem together. Otherwise, the district court with jurisdiction over Autodori’s place of business in Japan has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance, unless the law gives you the right to go to court elsewhere.
If these terms are also published in another language, the English version prevails if they differ, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.
